Administrative Team The administrative team of AEC is designed to support the medical team in all facets of their career here at AEC. The purpose of AEC is to help you with your pet's crisis when you need it most. We have a heavy administrative presence in the hospital to aid the medical team in every aspect of the day-to-day so they can focus on what is most important, your pet’s health. This team handles the paperwork, building problems, finding new equipment, and primarily helps team members accomplish continued career growth.

This team consists of managers, coordinators, and assistants all striving toward improving today based on yesterday’s feedback for tomorrow’s aspirations. Our administrative team has extensive experience in managing or working within veterinary systems. We have found the secret to success is understanding every voice has value, and no one person has every answer.

Each decision made by this team is predicated on the support of the entire hospital. These decisions are made by communicating with an empathetic and compassionate approach in order to maintain efficiency and personal accountability through a transparent lens of openness and trust by consulting the people affected, incorporating their ideas, leading to change, innovation, and excellence.

The Administration team is made up of five departments: human resources, financial resources, community resources, logistics, and operations. Each department has its own goals and is continuously evolving to meet the needs of the medical team.
Human Resources The human resource department addresses employee needs with a compassionate approach. The main objective of this department is to inform the entire team of their rights and benefits while ensuring AEC is living up to our beliefs. We believe each one of our team members embodies these beliefs in their tenure at our hospital. The human resources department supports team members in not only achieving these values but making sure they can work to the best of their abilities.  Financial Resources The financial resource department manages the financial health of the hospital. This department is available to handle financial matters on behalf of our clients, our team members, and the business. The majority of our finances are handled internally by people who understand and balance the needs of our clients with the needs of the hospital. The goal is to ensure that both client and employee questions are answered on a timely basis as well as maintaining financial records. Community Resources Communication is the vital responsibility of the community resource department which provides the connection between each and every piece of our company structure to our wonderful community. This team works in collaboration with all of the other departments to help spread awareness of emergent veterinary conditions, aide in talent acquisition, and collect feedback from the community to improve internal systems. This department also handles the distribution and organization of medical records to clients, family veterinarians, and insurance companies.  Logistics The leader of the logistics department specializes in inventory management and processes. This individual works closely with team members on a daily basis and is uniquely positioned to strategize the effective use of products and services incorporated into the hospital. This department is one of our primary resources when a process requires streamlining with the goal of providing the product necessary to practice high-quality medicine while minimizing expenses in order to keep costs affordable to our clients. Operations The main objective of the operations department is to work with the team to ensure they are supported on the medical floor as well as in their personal lives. The operations department determines schedules, develops protocols, and implements systems for team members. Multiple people in the medical and administrative department work hard to keep our operations transparent, and few things are developed without the majority consensus of our team. Protocols are created through team ideas which are critiqued by peers and translated into processes.

The operations department arranges company-wide training programs to ensure the team is up to date with the latest medical procedures and protocols and provides dedicated training coordinators for each medical department. We hold knowledge, technique, and continuing education in high regard and host career development sessions with each and every team member. We believe we are never done learning and take every opportunity to advance our skills and expand our operational possibilities.
